Founded in 2008 by Bjorn Rebney Bellator Fighting Championships (Bellator) is a mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion based in the United States. "Bellator," which is Latin for "Warrior," was the first MMA promotion to provide direct access to the Hispanic market by utilizing Spanish ring announcing and commentary plus Hispanic talent.
